Adopt an Elephant

Description

The elephant orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya, is a very special place. All the elephants here are lucky to survive. Many are victims of poaching and have seen their mothers shot by ivory poachers.

On arrival at the orphanage they receive round- the- clock care, plenty of companionship and love to heal their physical and psychological wounds.

Aged around two years the orphans are weaned and moved to the beautiful Tsavo East National Park to begin the long process of rehabilitation back to the wild. With our support this adoption programme offers young elephants a great future as part of the Tsavo’s wild elephant community.

Your unique Adopt an Elephant gift pack will include:
• A gorgeous, cuddly elephant soft toy.
• A personalised certificate with a colour picture of the elephant
• An elephant fact sheet
• An update after six months
• A copy of Care for the Wild News, a tri-annual newsletter, packed with wildlife facts and interviews with individuals working in the frontline of conservation
• Care for the Wild International window Sticker

When ordering, please specify the date for the adoption certificate in the message box.

Please note there is no message included with this gift.
