Full Introduction to Cableskiing

Description

This course can be taken over two or three days and is ideal for people who are thinking about taking the sport up as a hobby.

It is comprised of three parts. Once you are changed, you will be given a full safety briefing and instruction on the beach before taking to the water on our cable system, initially on a kneeboard for your first part of the course. This will prepare you for how the cable pulls at the start and how to take the corners, without the added problems of having to balance.

Once you are confident on a kneeboard and you are successfully completing laps of the cabletow, you are ready for the second part - the opportunity to progress onto a wakeboard or skis. An instructor will again talk you through the start procedure on land before you take to the water for a further two hours wakeboarding or skiing. During your time on a wakeboard, the cable operator will be on hand to provide some further instruction.

The third part of the course is a further two hours wakeboarding/waterskiing with the emphasis one improving on what you`ve already learned. You may also receive video coaching and `real time` instruction where a coach will come out skiing along side you.

Things you need to know

• Safety brief and instruction provided on our beach
• Equipment provided
• One hour kneeboarding for familiarisation
• Instruction provided for wakeboarding or skiing
• Two hours wakeboarding or skiing on our cabletow system
• Two further hours focused on improving

Minimum age 11 years and must be reasonably fit.

Other Information

You will need to take a swimming costume, towels and wash bag. Wetsuits are provided.

Spectator Information:

Facilities for spectators include: Lakeside Brasserie with a large sun deck with fantactic view of the boat skiing lake,onsite gym, childrens play park, large sandy beaches and onsite shop selling surf clothing and equipment. Please note there are no picnics, dogs or swimmers allowed.
