Trips to Yorkshire apparently increased by 35 per cent last summer - so why not hop aboard the
Orient Express to travel to the destination in style?
Gary Verity, the chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, announced that the area was the "fastest growing region in the UK" and noted that more and more tourists were taking long stays at Yorkshire's visitor attractions.
So relaxing onboard the
Orient Express as you chug through the beautiful scenery surrounding the area may be a great idea for Valentine's Day - a romantic visit to see what all the fuss is about could be just the ticket.
And it does not get much more romantic than staying at a great hotel - and, according to TripAdvisor, the Rudding Park hotel in Harrogate was recently voted the best tourist facility in Britain.
So why not sit back, enjoy a glass of champagne with your special someone and allow the
Orient Express to bring you closer this year?
It could be that a trip to Yorkshire will set the sparks flying.
