RIB Powerboating

Description

This thrilling experience takes place aboard a 7.5m high performance RIB. Each participant will be given the opportunity, under supervision, to drive this powerful craft for approximately 10 minutes in order to experience its power, manoeuvrability and versatility.

Your programme on the day:
9:00am - Arrival, tea and coffee
9:15am - Safety briefing, breathable foul weather gear and lifejackets fitted.
9:30am - Leave marina, hands on instruction in low speed driving technique.
10:00am - Reach unlimited speed area, skipper demonstrates the full potential of the RIB at speed and in waves. Participants are given hands on instruction in high-speed technique.
11:45am - Return to Marina, further low speed instruction.
12:30pm - Arrival, leave at leisure.

This experience start at 9am or 2pm, the same schedule applies for the afternoon session.

Things you need to know

Minimum age is 12, under16s to be accompanied by an adult, maximum weight 16 stone. This experience is not suitable for anyone with back, neck, knee injuries or pregnant.

Breathable foul weather gear and manually inflated lifejackets will be supplied for the duration of the experience. The experience will last about three and half hours.There will be a maximum of six other participants taking part per session, plus the skipper.

The experience is available between March and October.

Participants are advised to bring warm clothing and flat-soled shoes, a towel and a change of clothes are recommended.

Spectator Information:

Friends and family are welcome to wave you off and wait for you at the marina. The marina is a very modern facility with a restaurant, bar, shops, free parking, toilets and showers on site.
